The 1st Annual RMA Holiday Special! Joined by Jed from C&OD - And More!
RMA-Episode 19 Show Notes:
Happy holidays kids!! This week on our special Christmas edition of RMA we present our interview with Jed from the Church & Other Drugs podcast. Jed is an ex-addict/alcoholic Christian who tells the stories of the beatdown, up and coming, hard-knocked, and healed up. It’s a redemption tale writ large, and our discussion gets into the season-appropriate question of where God fits into a recovery plan, and whether there’s a difference between spirituality and religion. It’s a deep-dive into universal questions about, Christianity and dark nights of the soul. I think you’re going to love it.

If you’re in trouble with substance abuse and need help, reach out. There are thousands of people who have put problems with addiction in their rear-view mirrors and you can be one of them. While we neither endorse nor condemn any particular program, the sheer number of available AA and NA meetings suggest that reaching out to those organizations would be a good first step on the road to recovery.
